New SeekTech SR-60 makes locating faster and easier
ELYRIA, Oh, March 4—RIDGID has recently introduced the new SeekTech SR-60 receiver, which allows professionals to locate underground objects with greater ease and certainty.
A key feature of the SR-60 is its large mapping display, which confirms a good locate signal. It also identifies distortion in congested areas by using three features. First, the target line guides the operator and shows changes in direction. The left-right guidance arrows point the operator to the target utility. Third, the proximity signal and signal strength help the operator center the locator closer to the target line for more confident locates.
“We believe that the SR-60 is the most efficient locator on the market,” said Jerry Baker, director of strategic accounts. “The SR-60 is for users wanting the fastest, easiest, most versatile receiver available. It performs fast and confident locates even under tough conditions like poor conductors, poor soil conditions and poor grounding.”
The SR-60 increases productivity by showing continuous depth changes in real time. The Omni-seek feature enhances accuracy and efficiency when searching in inactive modes. It continuously searches for passive power and radio bands to locate and avoid metallic lines. SR-60 locators can also be configured with up to 30 user defined frequencies.
“RIDGID locators are engineered to raise the standard in locating equipment. With the technological advancements and the higher frequencies that the SR-60 has to offer, professional locators are empowered with more information to make more informed decisions about their locates. The SR-60 offers the most flexibility as it provides the broadest range of frequencies,” said Mark Fleming, senior product manager.
